Undergraduate Studies
Food Science and Human Nutrition is the scientific study of the quality, safety, nutritional properties and health of foods. The course provides multidisciplinary academic training covering areas of food science including chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology, engineering, quality control and hygiene, dairy science, enology and human nutrition. Furthermore, several modules are offered that provide a general agricultural background. Our students graduate with the degree of Agriculturist of the Food Science and Human Nutrition.
This degree is normally taken as a five year course. Each academic year is structured chronologically into two semesters (fall and spring).
