Ο κ. Δροσινός είναι απόφοιτος της Ανωτάτης Γεωπονικής Σχολής Αθηνών και απέκτησε το Διδακτορικό Δίπλωμα από το Πανεπιστήμιο Bath του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου. Σήμερα είναι Καθηγητής και διδάσκει το γνωστικό αντικείμενο ‘Συστήματα διασφάλισης ποιότητας και υγιεινής τροφίμων’. Η ερευνητική του δραστηριότητα και το δημοσιευμένο έργο του εντοπίζονται σε θέματα διασφάλισης και ελέγχου της μικροβιολογικής ποιότητας και της υγιεινής των τροφίμων. Παράλληλα με την μελέτη των συστημάτων HACCP ασχολείται με τα συστήματα διαχείρισης ποιότητας της σειράς ISO 9000. Στα πλαίσια αυτά εντάσσεται η μελέτη παθογόνων και αλλοιογόνων μικροοργανισμών στα τρόφιμα και στα αγροτικά προϊόντα.
